Blucher

Blucher: A shoe that is constructed with the vamp and tongue made of one piece, and with quarters that lap over the vamp.  Also known as a Derby shoe.

The Blucher is named after Prussian Generalfeldmarschall Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher, and — unfortunately — not after Chloris Leachman’s character Frau Blücher in Young Frankenstein.
