Auntie Fashion’s Do-It-Yourself £1000 Balmain Jeans

According to The Cut, “Balmania” is sweeping fashion. Too bad for Balmain that the company didn’t buy up its old licenses quickly enough. They recently launched a menswear line while Sears Canada is still selling the label. On the bright side, if you’re crafty like me, that label itself might be worth its weight in stylishness!
What you’ll need:
One pair of cheap skinny jeans; a jug of bleach; coarse sandpaper; a pair of scissors; a needle and thread; a $4.94 Balmain dress shirt from sears.ca.
Step One: Wash jeans with about a cup of bleach in hot water. Spill bleach directly on fabric and allow jeans to sit in washing machine fifteen minutes before washing in hot water again.
Step Two: “Tatter” jeans by rubbing sandpaper on knees until desired amount of “wear” is apparent.
Step Three: Carefully remove “Balmain” tag from the neck of the $4.94 Balmain shirt. Sew tag into jeans. For enhanced brand recognition, purchase a second Balmain shirt and sew a tag on the back pocket of the jeans.
