The week I wait for all year long is finally here!
For those of you who have been living under a rock, the Week of Incomprehensible Gorgeousness marks not only my birthday week, but also the birthday week of such fashion luminaries as Sarah Mower, Christy Turlington and Liya Kebede. We’re like a league of superheroes, only we can’t all appear in the same place at the same time or else the universe will collapse upon itself from the combined weight of our mind-boggling beauty. That may be difficult for some of you to understand, but if you weren’t born looking like us, it’s nearly impossible to conceive what it would be like to be so good-looking. My advice is to not even try to understand. Just enjoy staring at us while you can and that should take your mind off of your more-esoteric concerns.
Anyway, if you were not born during this week, you can celebrate the Week of Incomprehensible Gorgeousness by worshipping at the altars of those who were born during this week. Buy us presents or take us out for dinner! Tell us how pretty we are! It’s not really that complicated. You can comprehend that part, right?
