Harper’s Bazaar

While checking out some recent editorials on Fashion Gone Rogue this morning, I came across this stunning photograph from the Latin American edition of “Harper’s Bazaar,” taken by Mexico City-based fashion photographer Gregory Allen.  That piqued my interest because my astrologer is named Gregory Allen Polkosnik, the author of the definitive work on fashion astrology, “Cosmically Chic.”  I then Googled the name “Gregory Allen” just for fun and I also discovered an accessories designer named “Gregory Allen.”

There must be something inherently fashionable about the name; what else could explain that the top web searches for this name are dominated by people who work in the fashion business?  It’s like being called “Wang” and finding a career in fashion design or being called some variation of “Brittany” or “Ebony” and finding your way onto the cast of “America’s Next Top Model.”

It all makes me wonder if I should start a fashion label called “Gregory Allen Wang” just to see if I can ride on the coattails of these obviously magical monikers.  I suppose I’ll need investors.  Interested parties may inquire within . . .
