Overalls

Overalls

Salopettes: The French word for bib-and-brace overalls.

Dungarees: An Indian-made cloth that came to be synonymous with the garments made from it, including some overalls.  In British slang, overalls are sometimes referred to as dungarees.

Snekkerbukse: Literally translated as “carpenter pants” in the Scandinavian languages but referring to traditional bib overalls.

Tuinbroek: Literally translated as “garden pants” in Dutch, but also referring to bib overalls.
